Hello, I'm Sean

I use technology to
empower people
and build community

Technology should be ethical, accessible, and fun. I work at the crossroads of public service and modern tech — creating tools and programs that help everyone thrive.

Kindness, creativity, and code

People First

Technology only matters when it helps real people. I build with empathy and put human needs at the center of every project.

Creative Problem Solver

I find joy in crafting elegant solutions. Whether it's a Python script or a web app, I aim for clarity and beauty.

Community Builder

From senior center labs to one-on-one tutoring, I bring people together through shared learning and mutual support.

I believe technology should never feel out of reach. For too many people, computers and software create stress instead of possibilities. I'm working to change that.

As a Technology Specialist serving public libraries and municipal government, I spend my days making tech work for everyone — not just the experts. I write software that helps my coworkers do their jobs better. I teach seniors to video call their grandchildren. I help job seekers format their resumes. Every small victory matters.

My toolkit includes Django and PostgreSQL for building solid web applications, and I'm equally at home on Unix-like systems and Windows. I write code in Nova by Panic and Gram (a no-AI fork of Zed), and you'll find me in Alacritty with tmux when I'm in the terminal. I'm platform agnostic because good tools are good tools, no matter where they come from.

What I Value

  • Kindness — in code, in collaboration, in community
  • Creativity — finding unexpected solutions
  • Collaboration — we go further together
  • Community — technology rooted in service

Building bridges with technology

Technology can divide us, or it can bring us together. I choose together.

Every week I see people transform from anxious to confident. A senior sends her first email. A parent learns to help with online homework. A job seeker submits their first digital application. These moments remind me why this work matters.

In public libraries and city senior centers, I create spaces where questions are welcome and mistakes are just part of learning. No jargon. No judgment. Just patient guidance and genuine encouragement.
